On Friday 28th June, staff from across GRG Waste UK competed in the annual Waste World Cup in aid of Waste Aid at Beaconsfield Rugby Club.

The team were drawn in Group E, and were set to face FCC, Suez, Cory Group, and Robert Hopkins in the morning games. GRG Waste UK finished second in the group stages, with two wins, one draw, and one loss. 

GRG Waste UK made it through to the Quarter Finals, but unfortunately were knocked out with a 2-1 loss against ENFINIUM.
